Torii's program combines individual strength with community power. Your support represents a major portion of that miracle we create when we work together to bring out the best of each of us. Your donation will go to the salary of an Aftercare Worker who will offer direct, compassionate support to a person who is working hard for self-reliance.

Aftercare services cost less per person than many other social services, and can be exceptionally effective by dramatically improving outcomes, shortening time in treatment and reducing the recycling of people through the treatment system.

Rather than fostering complete dependence on social programs, an Aftercare Worker gradually helps a person to use the support systems that already exist in communities. When this is accomplished, the Aftercare Worker will be available to help the next person.

People and communities both need a good quality of life. Your participation in Torii's Gateway of Caring means people who triumph in meeting life's challenges plus more livable communities for all.
